After a brief overview and introduction to the Integrated Photonic Systems Roadmap by Dr. Robert Pfahl, Director of IPSR Roadmap, Dr. Wilmer Bottoms will present highlights from the Roadmap’s Photonic Systems Packaging chapter. Addressing the challenges identified in this chapter are key to developing a low-cost, high-volume integrated photonics manufacturing industry in the United States.
